Youth Protection & Admission Regulations

The provisions of the German Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz – JuSchG) apply to all events. Please observe the following regulations to ensure a smooth admission process.

General Information

A valid photo ID must be presented upon entry.
Every minor must have their own accompanying adult.
One accompanying adult may supervise no more than one minor.
In individual cases, we reserve the right to refuse admission or remove persons from the event.

Children aged 6 to 13 inclusive

Admission only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The accompanying parent or legal guardian must remain with the child until the end of the event.
Hearing protection (e.g. earmuffs) must be worn throughout the entire event.
→ No admission without suitable hearing protection.
All persons must carry a valid ID.

• If the child and accompanying parent have different surnames, proof of parentage is required
  (e.g. a birth certificate; a copy is sufficient).

Young people aged 14 to 15 inclusive

• Admission only when accompanied by
  • a parent or legal guardian, or
  • an adult who has been formally authorised by the parent or legal guardian to act as the minor’s supervising adult.
• The accompanying person must remain with the minor until the end of the event.
• If supervision has been delegated to another adult, the following documents are required:
  • a fully completed parental authorisation form (“Muttizettel”)
  • a copy of the ID of the parent or legal guardian granting the authorisation
  • the original IDs of both the minor and the accompanying supervising adult
• We reserve the right to retain the submitted documents.

Young people aged 16 to 17 inclusive

• Admission only with a valid ID.
• Attendance is permitted until 12:00 midnight (00:00) at the latest.

Adults aged 18 and over

• Unrestricted admission.

Parties

• Admission strictly for persons aged 18 and over.
• A valid ID is mandatory.
• Minors are not permitted to attend parties under any circumstances.

Identification Documents

The following documents are accepted as valid proof of age:

• National identity card
• Passport
• Driving licence

The following are not accepted:

• Student ID cards
• Health insurance cards
• Bank or credit cards
• Photos or scans of identification documents
• Documents shown digitally
  (e.g. photos on a mobile phone, video calls or FaceTime calls)

Responsibilities of Accompanying Adults

Parents, legal guardians and authorised supervising adults are responsible throughout the entire event for:

• the behaviour of the minor
• ensuring compliance with the prohibition on alcohol consumption applicable to the minor.

We are unable to continuously monitor the serving or consumption of alcohol. Responsibility for supervising the minor therefore lies entirely with the accompanying adult.
